Angnôn aní – Catching the crocodile in the Dogon tradition

– “The oldest crocodile must leave the village to go to the pond of Bamba” sings the song.
Today, the crocodiles, Totem of Bamba, are taken out by men coming from all over the Dogon Country, it’s Idjou Ani, the fishing celebration.
